Health Lab up and running!

The Chalmers Precision HealthTech Hub is now up and running! Björn Agnarsson is leading the work being done at Chalmers Next Labs. Björn is an expert in a form of nanoparticles used to transport drug molecules. They are called lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and they are the type of nanoparticles that transport mRNA to the right place in the body during vaccination against the covid virus. LNPs are the focus of the hub's initial activities.
The Precision HealthTech Hub is part of Chalmers' investment in precision health and has one leg in the research at Chalmers University of Technology and the other at Chalmers Next Labs. The scientific team includes Fredrik Höök, Physics, Elin Esbjörner, LIFE, Marcus Wilhelmsson, Chemistry and Margaret Holme. At Chalmers Next Labs Björn Agnarsson.
