2024 has been an eventful year so far!

The WACQT Quantum testbed is nearing completion; Two dilution refrigerators have been installed – reaching temperatures below 0.01 Kelvin (-273.14 °C) – and an agreement with IBM has been setup, which allows WACQT partners to run quantum algorithms on up to 133 qubits.

As a step towards verifying the correct operation of the dilution refrigerators, a full system test has been performed together with our industrial partner, Scalinq. The system performed well within expectation. Once tests have been completed, the hardware testbed will be open to Swedish industry and researchers.
