Open house at the Science Festival

During the Gothenburg Science Festival, Next Labs opened up the quantum testbed to the public. Nearly 90 visitors took the chance to learn more about quantum technology - and see Sweden's only quantum computer up close.

On April 4, Chalmers Next Labs showcased the quantum testbed at the annual Science Festival in Gothenburg. Nearly 90 curious high school students and the general public took the opportunity to learn more about quantum computers and quantum technology as Friday entertainment.

The tour showed how quantum computer processors and components are made and how they can communicate with each other. Future generations were also on hand.

The open house was organized by researchers and PhD students from the Division of Quantum Technology at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience.
