Andreas is the Director of Defense for the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland and leads the new department for civil defense and preparedness. With broad experience of strategic advice and management in complex societal missions, he contributes as an affiliated expert in the Center for Total Defense Technology with strong expertise and support to society and authorities - both in peacetime and at high alert.

In addition to being a reserve officer and major, Karl is also a senior lecturer at Chalmers and a very experienced educator at several universities in modern military professionalism and renewal of the armed forces. His research areas are organizational and systems theory, leadership and civil-military relations.

Richard has a background in the Swedish Armed Forces and is Head of Department in Computer Science and Information Technology and conducts research in software engineering with an empirical focus. His work is mainly concerned with verification and validation in industry. His specialties are software development, software testing, project management, with a focus on AI, machine learning, search-based software engineering, reliability engineering and software testing.
